BANGKOK: -- Police raided a swinging party in a Bangkok hotel late Wednesday night and arrested 13 foreign men, seven Thai women and three foreign women.

The raid took place at 0:15 am Thursday at the Elizabeth Hotel on Praditpat Road in Samsen district.

Police also arrested a couple - Christian Richards and his Thai wife, for allegedly organising the swinging sex tour.

When police raided the room No 1101 on the 11th floor of the hotel, police found several couples were having sex in the same room while others were drinking and dancing.

Police found used condoms, lubricant gel, porno books and CDs and 30 @#$%& of Viagra.

Dear forum visitors, I ask it hereby for support with the search for Solitaire Meissmer. She is missed since the Tsunami of 26.12.2004 in Thailand (Khao Lak).

After nearly one year later discovered Sascha Meissmer, the father of Soltaire, a picture of his daughter taken up by a Phuket Resident on the 27.12.2004 in the Phuket City Hall, which was published in the Internet.
Now are press, police and also the governor looking for the girl. Perhaps she was evacauted by airplaine to Bangkok or a family absorbed her because they assumed that her parents were drowned.

Unfortunately we had to determine that still many people despite the reports on TV and radio about this case are unknowing or have nothing heard about it. Thats the reason for www.we-save-khaolak.de to make the step going in direct contact with all the people and published this important request for assistance.

Who can give references or information to the whereabouts of the small Solitaire Meissmer?

Solitaere is called with Thai-Nick-(pointed)name Nong taire.

A women from the market remembers to have seen Solitaere Meissmer at the Chong Fah Waterfall after the Tsunami.

The Thai gouvernor meant it exists the possibility that Solitaire Meissmer was gone on a trip

The following important questions needs answers:

Who is the dark-blond long-curly haired person (sitting on the chair) opposite the child?
Who is the man, who is treated in the left foreground (with the blue-yellow shorts and the glasses)?
If it is not Solitaire, who recognizes the girl as ITS OWN child?

Fam. Meissmer got a dead body in August 2005, here is again a possibility for a mistake was present. According this the authorities are now examined again .

The entire complex is called City Hall. In the rear right part into it is located
the OrBorJor. The photo was taken in the OrBorJor on the City Hall Center which is called Provincal Hall also .

I used to stay at Pinnacle Lumpinee which handle this very cool but on my last stay the hotel looks a little dirty. Now I'm looking for an alternative: good location, clean and aprox. price around 1200 to 1300 bath. Any ideas?

Pattaya 24/7, the eighth novel in the Vincent Calvino series, has been selling well since it came out in May. Heres the broad outline of the story of this new Calvino novel:

Inside a secluded, lush estate located on the edge of Pattaya, an eccentric Englishmans gardener is found hanged. Calvino has been hired to investigate. Calvino finds himself pulled deep in the shadows of the war against drugs, into an empire of a local warlord with the trail leading to a terrorist who has caused Code Orange alerts to flash across the screen of American intelligence. In a story packed with twists and turns, Calvino traces the links from the gardeners past to the door of men with power and influence who have everything to lose if the mystery of the gardeners death is solved.

When the novel was launched in Pattaya 160 people turned out at the Green Tree Restaurant to hear me talk about the new novel. The Pattya Expat Club and Bookazine sponsored the launch. I had a chance to meet a lot of friends and signed a fair number of books.

Reprint of titles News

Reprint in trade paperback news: the following titles have been reprinted (most with new introductions and are available: Cold Hit, A Killing Smile, A Haunting Smile, Spirit House, and God of Darkness.

By early October, Minor Wife and the reissue of Saint Anne under the title of Red Sky Falling will also be released.

I am proud of the new covers. Each of the novels has undergone a new edit with two experienced editors. I have written a preface for Spirit House, Cold Hit, A Killing Smile and A Haunting Smile. In the prefaces I talk about the my time in Thailand and the events that inspired me to write the book.

Awards
On September 30th I will be in Unna to accept the 2004 German Critics Award for Crime Fiction (Deutsche Krimi Preis) for the German translation of Cut Out (Stunde Null Phnom Penh). In 2003 Dennis Lehane won this award for his novel Mystic River. Previous international winners include: Ian Rankin, Michael Connelly, Elmore Leonard, James Ellroy, James Lee Burke, John le Carré, Carl Hiaasen, and Joseph Wambaugh.

Hey all,

For those of you new to Thailand, I would like to share a wonderful experience I had on my trip here.

Upon my arrival, I made my way to Pattaya; I heard the nightlife and party scene was amazing. The only problem was that I did not know anyone and really had no idea of where to go. Luckily for me though I strolled into my first beer bar called thai travel tips bar on Soi 8. The reason I was lucky was because the guys that owned the bar had an almost unbelievable service they were offereing to guys.

Drinks and women on the house, just to start. In addition they offered a service where they took me to all the hottest spots in town and basically made sure I had the best time I could. They took care of everything and anything I needed to get done. It was like having a group of friends to watch my back. They were about 5 guys from all over the world.

The only reason I am posting this information is because I knew how felt when I first flew into Bangkok and really no one to help guide me. I was lucky I stumbled into their bar and I just want to help any of you new guys coming over to Thailand. You can check these guys out on the web if you want. If you go to Phi Phi, look out for gay German guy who approaches english people in bars & asks for cigarretes. If you don't have any he becomes nasty and attempts to sexually molest both males and females.
He is aged about 22, has spiked blonde hair and usually wears leather trousers. He is very arrogant and rude and has a kind of unwashed smell.

On 19th June, I will be in Pattaya to launch Pattaya 24/7 and will be speaking at the Expat club. A trade paperback edition of Waiting for the Lady is in the works. To remind you of the story:

Reprint News: Cold Hit and Land of Smiles Trilogy

Look for the reprint in trade paperback of Cold Hit. The newly revised trade paperback edition will be published in summer, 2004. The new edition comes with a preface.

Another project this year is the reissue of the Land of Smiles trilogy. You can have a look at the newly designed covers on the home page of www.cgmoore.com

This Fall 2004, A Killing Smile, A Bewitching Smile and A Haunting Smile will be published as trade paperback editions. I have written a preface for each of the reprinted titles giving the context in which each of the novels was written and how I see things in Thailand at the present time.

Here is the reprinting schedule: A Haunting Smile is out of stock and will be reprinted in June 2004. A Killing Smile will be reprinted in July 2004 and finally in August 2004 A Bewitching Smile will be reprinted.

The Land of Smiles trilogy will also be sold individually and as a boxed set. Even if you read the original years ago, the new edition with the preface should bring back memories for you or a friend.
